Planning Section of Haldia Development Authority doing a crucial role for overall development of Haldia Planning Area as well as Haldia Municipality Area. The main activity of Planning Section is :

• Preparation of advance planning.
  1. Prospective Plan of the area and its region.
  2. Preparation of LUDCP/ Master Plan.
  3. Preparation of existing land use map and register for the declared Haldia Planning Area.
• Preparation of Scheme of area development.
  1. New Township development.
  2. Development of Community facility like : School, Health Centre, Park, Playground etc.
• Preparation of Master Plan of Infrastructure Development.
  1. Roads.
  2. Drainage.
  3. Sewage.
  4. Solid Waste etc
